Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to make a purchase.

If you place an order on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

These Terms apply to retail customers. Wholesale purchases and sponsorship arrangements are governed by separate agreements.

Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to accurately present product descriptions, dimensions, materials, features, photographs, videos, and pricing.

Product appearance may vary slightly because of lighting, screen settings, photography, manufacturing tolerances, or product improvements that do not materially change the product’s intended function.

We may correct errors or update product information at any time. If a material correction affects an order you have already placed, we will notify you and provide any options required by law.

Prices, Taxes, and Payment

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other required charges will be shown during checkout when available.

By submitting payment information, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Payments may be processed through Shopify Payments, Afterpay, or another authorized provider. Your use of those services may also be subject to the provider’s terms.

Afterpay refunds are processed through the Afterpay account and payment method associated with the purchase.

Orders

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products. An order confirmation means that we received your order but does not necessarily mean fulfillment has begun.

We may decline or cancel an order because of:

Product unavailability;
Payment failure;
Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity;
Incorrect customer or delivery information;
An obvious pricing or technical error; or
A violation of these Terms.

If we cancel an order after collecting payment, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

Preorders

A product identified as a preorder is not available for immediate shipment.

All Vehicle Dash Privacy Shield preorders are also governed by the separate VDPS Preorder Terms of Sale, which explain:

When payment is collected;
The estimated fulfillment period;
How to cancel before fulfillment processing;
How shipping delays will be communicated; and
When refunds are available.

If these Terms conflict with the VDPS Preorder Terms of Sale regarding a preorder, the VDPS Preorder Terms of Sale control.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Contact us promptly if you discover an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after fulfillment processing begins.

Carrier delays, severe weather, supply-chain interruptions, government action, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery. These circumstances do not eliminate any cancellation, notice, or refund rights provided by law or the VDPS Preorder Terms of Sale.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Post-delivery returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

Eligible standard returns must generally be requested within 30 days after delivery and satisfy the conditions stated in that policy.

The $7.99 restocking fee applies only to eligible standard returns after delivery. It does not apply to a preorder properly cancelled before fulfillment processing begins.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect products will be handled under the Return and Refund Policy and any applicable warranty.

If these Terms conflict with the Return and Refund Policy regarding a return, refund, or exchange, the Return and Refund Policy controls.

Limited Warranty

Eligible products may be covered by our Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Warranty coverage, exclusions, claim procedures, and remedies are governed by the written warranty. Coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification, accidents, ordinary cosmetic wear, or failure to follow product instructions.

If these Terms conflict with the written warranty concerning warranty coverage, the Lifetime Limited Warranty controls.

Product Use and Safety

You are responsible for reading and following all product instructions, labels, and safety warnings.

The Vehicle Dash Privacy Shield is intended for use only while a vehicle is safely and legally parked. Do not use the VDPS while driving. Remove the VDPS from the windshield and properly store it before operating the vehicle.

Do not install or use the product in a manner that interferes with driving visibility, vehicle controls, airbags, safety equipment, or emergency access.

You are responsible for complying with applicable vehicle, parking, traffic, and windshield-obstruction laws.

Acceptable Site Use

You may use the Site only for lawful personal or business purposes.

You may not:

Use the Site for fraud, deception, or unlawful activity;
Attempt unauthorized access to the Site or another customer’s account;
Introduce malicious software or interfere with Site security;
Scrape or commercially exploit Site content without permission; or
Infringe our rights or the rights of another party.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect our customers, systems, business, or legal rights.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its content—including the Vehicle Dash Privacy Shield and VDPS names, Parked Innovations name, product designs, logos, photographs, videos, animations, graphics, and written materials—are owned by or licensed to Parked Innovations and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may access and use the Site for lawful shopping and informational purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, publish, or commercially use our content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Privacy and Electronic Communications

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

By placing an order or contacting us electronically, you consent to receive communications concerning your order, payment, shipping, cancellation, refund, warranty claim, or customer-service request.

Marketing messages will be sent only as permitted by law. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link provided in the message.

Third-Party Services

The Site may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, Afterpay, payment processors, shipping carriers, and social-media platforms.

We do not control these providers and are not responsible for their independent terms, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by a separate agreement between you and that provider.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Except for our written product warranty and rights that cannot legally be excluded, the Site is provided on an “as available” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parked Innovations will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or a product.

For a claim arising from a purchase, our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Nothing in these Terms eliminates rights provided by our Return and Refund Policy, VDPS Preorder Terms of Sale, Lifetime Limited Warranty, or applicable consumer-protection law.

Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, government action, labor disruptions, carrier interruptions, utility failures, or significant supply-chain disruptions.

This section does not eliminate any notice, cancellation, or refund right required by law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protections available under the laws applicable to you.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our products, operations, technology, or legal obligations.

Updated Terms will be posted on the Site with a revised “Last Updated” date. The Terms in effect when an order is submitted will generally govern that order.

Related Policies and Order of Precedence

These Terms should be read together with the policies linked on the Site.

When a specific matter is covered by another policy:

The VDPS Preorder Terms of Sale control matters involving VDPS preorders.
The Return and Refund Policy controls returns, refunds, and exchanges.
The Lifetime Limited Warranty controls warranty claims.
The Privacy Policy controls personal-information practices.
These Terms control general Site use and retail transactions not addressed by a more specific policy.

Wholesale transactions and sponsorship arrangements remain governed by separate agreements.
