How does the VDPS work?+
The VDPS uses the luminance difference between a brighter exterior and darker vehicle interior. Its matte black surface absorbs light while the precision-woven 70D mesh reduces exterior sightlines and preserves forward awareness from inside.
What type of vehicle does it work best on—tinted or non-tinted windows?+
The VDPS performs best in vehicles with tinted windows, which help keep the cabin darker and strengthen the privacy effect.
Is it legal to use?+
The VDPS is designed exclusively for parked vehicles. Do not use it while driving. Remove the shield completely before operating the vehicle.
How do I install it?+
Thread the six suction cups into the reinforced eyelets, position the shield at your preferred eye level and press each cup firmly onto the windshield. Visit the Demo page for the complete routine.
What are the exact dimensions?+
The final VDPS measures 54 inches wide by 14 inches high.
Can I use it at night?+
Meaningful nighttime privacy is strongest when interior lighting remains low and exterior ambient light maintains the luminance difference. Keep phone brightness low and avoid dome lights for best results.
Orders & Shipping
When will my order ship?+
Current VDPS orders are pre-orders expected to begin shipping to customers in Spring 2027. Pre-orders will be fulfilled in the order received. Your card is charged when the order is placed, and we’ll provide updates as your VDPS moves through production and gets closer to delivery.
Do you offer free shipping?+
Not currently.
Can I return my order?+
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for eligible products in original condition. Email customersupport@parkedinnovations.com to begin.
Warranty & Support
What does the Lifetime Limited Warranty cover?+
It covers defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser, including the EVA core, webbing, mesh, exterior, interior, stitching and storage-pouch zipper under normal use.
How do I make a warranty claim?+
Email warrantyclaims@parkedinnovations.com with your order number, a description and clear photos. Claims are reviewed within 3–5 business days.
Is the warranty transferable?+
No. The Lifetime Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser.

How do I become a wholesale account?+

How does the sponsorship program work?+
Businesses select a sponsorship tier that funds shields for participants in approved safe-parking programs. Sponsors receive recognition, visibility and impact reporting.
Is the product patent protected?+
A provisional patent has been filed by Parked Innovations, LLC. The Vehicle Dash Privacy Shield™ is Patent Pending.
